eaststreet19 - Whitburn
eaststreet19 is a bit of a perfect mix between a bar and restaurant and was established in 2019 by Marie, who is Sunderland born and bred, but spent 30 years in California, so there is an American twist with what eaststreet19 does and what they do, they do brilliantly.
Bar & Seating at eaststreet19:
As you can see, eaststreet19 has a lovely little bar that accompanies the seating perfectly. Helping to create a lovely atmosphere for having a meal or a few drinks.

eaststreet19 have a great range of drinks available, including craft beers on tap, cocktails such as a Mojito, Blue Lagoon and Margarita Slush and all the usual ones you'd imagine. They also have a really nice wine list.
Live performances at eaststreet19:
Every now and then eaststreet19 has a live performance in-house. This may come in the form of live music, be it a fantastic rendition on the piano or the customers having a dance courtesy of a singer singing some great classic tracks. These aren't every week, but plenty of notice is given in advance so nobody needs to miss out.
And now to the food:
Sundays are special. Sunday is Sunday roast day and you just have to speak to almost anyone who has had their roast there to know how highly rated they are. But eaststreet19 offers a different menu during the week with such delights as quesadillas, pork chop salsa verde, birria lamb & beef kebab and more as you can see from the pictures. They do have different menus for different events, so always check in with them to see which one is running.
